Here's a little history on this gem: my friend
Doug's grandmother bought this car new
back in '61. Originally it was a green color,
but the family gave it this new color scheme
when they replaced the engine back in the
late '70s. There's a practically new motor in
the car that was flown out from Stuttgart,
Germany and installed in Monterey,
California. There's fewer than 10K miles on
it. More likely it has less then 5K miles on the
engine. So it's barely been broken in after
nearly 29 years. The upholstery is practically
new and in excellent condition. All of the
wood work - yes, it's real wood - was
refinished and oiled during the refurbishing.
As you can see, this car is the epitome of
German luxury vehicles from the early 60's.
More than enough luxury for a lovely little
Dachshund named Sadie. Of course she's
comfortable, she's a German pup at home
in a luxurious German car.
This is a classic vehicle that I feel
extremely fortunate to own.
Classic not
vintage.

Only wines are vintage.
